The standards of content on social media

Time will tell whether the bad man will ruin everything quickly, slowly, or somehow things will survive. But I just wanted to observe that on the allegedly really important and good bird site I just saw a post that was one of those "hey, remember how cassette tapes work?" posts and the comments were filled with "yes, wow I remember how cassette tapes work". This is trash-tier content! Hold yourself to higher standards!

Anyway it just amused me that I went onto a dying platform and between all the "oh no this platform is dying" posts there was some absolute garbage post of the sort that boomers might share on facebook that you're always baffled that anyone finds amusing.

Am I cynical and grumpy? Sure. It's very late at night, I am allowed to be.
