God, time is so weird and I don't even understand how fast it moves. Some things feel like they were ages ago when they were recent, and some things feel recent and were ages ago. Doesn't line up.

I kept seeing posts on the decker forums asking about how to install it in linux, since there's no provided linux binaries. While it deeply weirds me out that there's linux users who aren't comfortable building from source, I'd seen enough that I thought maybe I should make a handy guide.
