alright, new year fuckos
2025. fakeass science fiction sounding year. the future sucks.
Deck Month 2 ended, and there's a whole bunch of submissions. This is a link to them. You should play them. Decker is a good thing to make stuff in. Fuck corporate media, indie games are the ultimate and truest artform in the present time.
I had a bunch of time off in December. Used to build one computer and two decker projects. Not sure where the time went otherwise. I had a few social engagements but I kinda feel like I would have liked more. People are REALLY tricky at the moment though!
Wanna be hotter and gayer. This is... a good principle, but it is also effort and energy. Part of me wants the result to be people going "oh wow she's so hot and gay" but I don't think this happens and like even if it did I don't know what I'd do with that.
Anyway. Working on Next Zine, of course. Because like consistency of personal creative work at least means I have something to do. That'll exist at some point.
Cool shit: The blurays from one of my favourite anime companies can now be bought from the webstore of another of my favourite anime companies. This is great because previously they were only available from the crunchyroll store, which won't ship internationally and is a real fucking mess considering it used to be rightstuf who were good, amazon, who suck, and anime corner store, who seem weird and I think were just reselling crunchyroll stuff? But yeah I can do my discotek preorders again now and that'll be good.
I am very on the record of if you do not understand why I'm into physical media you can fuck off.
Anyway. Mood and vibe of this post is all over the place. I think I'm tired from like work and such, which is odd since this is a short week. Maybe it is not the work I am tired from so much as life stuff just feeling tricky? Need to figure out what is missing and fix it.
This post feels kinda shouty into the void. If you're reading it, please feel free to shout back, into my email or messaging me wherever, or something. I would appreciate knowing someone reads this.
